Tim Stein Scholarship
The Wisconsin Club Managers Foundation honors a longtime WCMF President, Tim Stein with a scholarship in his name. When remembering Tim, we can't help but remember his unwavering passion for wine and his relentless pursuit of knowledge in our industry. Tim's enthusiasm for discovering new flavors, exploring vineyards and sharing his expertise with others was truly infectious. One of Tim's greatest joys was attending industry conference where he could immerse himself in the latest t rends techniques and innovations. This scholarship will provide deserving individuals with the opportunity to attend these prestigious conference, just as Tim did and further their education and professional development.

WCMF Manager Scholarships
The Wisconsin Club Managers Foundation will award up to $6,000 in scholarships in 2025, based on the availability of funds and merit of application. This is a tremendous opportunity for clubs and managers to participate in CMAA professional development and Business Management Institute (BMI) programs.

The purpose of the Student Scholarship Fund is to help foster the study of the private club industry in schools and universities and to promote a closer affiliation between students and the professionals working in private clubs. A great many of the past recipients of these scholarships have gone on to successful careers in the industry.

Four (4) professional development scholarships are given out at the Wisconsin Badger Chapter, CMAA Annual Meeting in October. All Chapter members in attendance are entered to win Chapter Education for a year.

Melvin A. Schmidt, Sr. CCM Leadership Award
The Wisconsin Club Managers Foundation honors a longtime member of the Wisconsin Badger Chapter of CMAA with a leadership award in his name. Mel Schmidt, Sr, CCM was a dear friend, mentor and inspiration to all club managers. This prestigious award is presented and sponsored by a current or former Badger Chapter member. Nominations are accepted yearly, due by October 1.
